About Ithiltari
Ithiltari, as a username, was created for Gaia. I don't know why I decided not to use any of my *many* other usernames, but I chose this one, and now it's the one I use most.
Ithiltari the fictional character is based in Oblivion as, what I term, a racial Goddess. (Morfaer, for example, is a Universal Goddess, that is, she's the Goddess of Magic no matter where you go.) Ithi, on the other hand, is the Goddess of the Moon only to Elves. I'm still kind of working on how that all works, much like I'm still working on the history of Limbo/Oblivion.
I distinguish between Ithiltari the char and Ithiltari the Gaia char/me by calling the one Ithi, and the other Tari. Or Ari, but it depends on who's talking to me. ~*grins*~ Ith, Ithi, and Tari are all acceptable nicknames for the Gaia persona. Ari, on the other hand...~*grins again*~ Only Bael calls me Ari.
About Karen
Karen is the name my parents could agree on. ~*laugh*~ It's the only name my father came up with that wasn't one of his old girlfriends. (There was no way my mother was going to name me Cheryl, for example.) I was born in South Carolina, then moved to England when I was 18 months. Mom and Dad were in the Air Force, but Dad got out after I was born, so Mom was the one stationed there. Lived there for three years, and my younger brother Ian was born there. Lucky bastard, he gets free health care there. Damn him.
At any rate, we moved back to the States when I was five. Mom was stationed to Offut Air Force Base in Nebraska, and I've lived here for almost 15 years now. Graduated high school in '03, went to a local community college for a year, didn't actually do anything there. ._. Now I'm going to ITT Tech to get a degree in programming. Whoo!
